The key is to eliminate or dec...I love carbs, too. The key is to eliminate or decrease the amount of processed carbs. Bake your own breads, cakes, etc., and add increasing amounts of wheat flour, wheat germ (in SMALL amounts), etc. until it reaches the maximum you can handle. That's my recommendation, but it's also something I've "fallen off the wagon" as far as actually doing, myself! Could use a shot in the arm to get back on that healthy wagon.
