I like to think of slow as careful and attentive, not as dim-witted. My mind does not operate like a steel trap. Either I read slowly, or I will forget nine tenths of what's read.<BR/><BR/>As you say, some books are deserving of speed reads, but I tend to abandon a book rather than hasten along.
